Job summary

Humana is seeking a Float Receptionist to support CenterWell clinics in North Augusta, SC and West Augusta, GA. This onsite role involves greeting patients, managing front desk operations, and coordinating with clinical teams to maintain smooth patient flow.

Responsibilities include scheduling, record keeping in EMR/CRM, handling inquiries, and assisting with supplies. Travel between sites is required based on business needs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 1 year or more of healthcare experience preferred; strong customer service background considered.
• Excellent customer service and phone etiquette are essential.
• Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access) is recommended.

Responsibilities

• Provide front desk and administrative support across two locations: CenterWell North Augusta (North Augusta, SC) and CenterWell West Augusta (Augusta, GA). Travel between locations as needed.
• Greet patients and visitors warmly, in person and over the phone.
• Schedule and confirm patient appointments, manage calendars, and collaborate with medical staff to ensure efficient flow.
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records using EMR and CRM systems.
• Update patient accounts and collect copays when needed.
• Handle incoming calls, respond to inquiries, and provide general information and empathy.
• Keep the reception area clean, stocked, and organized.
• Assist with supply orders, inventory management, and courier coordination.
