Job summary

CenterWell Senior Primary Care, an entity of Humana, is seeking a Float Medical Assistant to work across multiple Georgia clinics in an onsite outpatient setting. You will report to the Associate Operations Director and perform clinical duties including vital signs, vaccine administration, phlebotomy and EHR documentation.

The ideal candidate has MA training and 5+ years experience with CMA/MA credentials, CPR certification, and is willing to undergo TB screening.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of an MA school/training program and CMA/MA with 5+ years of experience and approval from Provider.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CPR Certification.
• Role involves TB screening for employees and TB testing may be required.

Responsibilities

• Discuss symptoms and obtain vital signs.
• Administer medications and vaccines.
• Perform phlebotomy and collect specimens.
• Sterilize/clean equipment and maintain examination rooms.
• Document information in the electronic medical records system.

Bilingual English/Spanish (preferred)
