Job summary

Summit Spine & Joint Centers is seeking a Training and Development Lead to oversee initial training and ongoing education for clinical staff across Coastal region clinics, including NC and GA. You will supervise Medical Assistants, Front Desk staff, and related roles to ensure daily tasks are completed accurately and efficiently.

The role reports to the Director of Clinical Operations and requires travel within the state of North Carolina and Georgia.

Qualifications

• Experience training clinical staff and front desk personnel.
• Proficiency in coordinating training programs and materials.
• Ability to travel across North Carolina and Georgia.
• Experience with EHR systems, preferably eClinicalWorks.

Responsibilities

• Train staff on all aspects of their role from a clinical perspective.
• Audit work of staff, especially new hires, for accuracy and retraining needs.
• Retrain staff as necessary and improve training materials.
• Develop weekly staffing schedules with HR and Operations.
• Ensure clinic and ASC spaces are appropriately staffed.
• Monitor attendance and performance of staff.
• Coordinate quarterly clinical staff meetings.
• Update the Medical Assistant Manual and training protocols.
• Carry out other duties as assigned and communicate professionally.
