Job summary

Summit Spine & Joint Centers in Georgia seeks a Medical Assistant Supervisor to oversee day-to-day back-office operations, mentor Medical Assistants, and coordinate workloads across clinics. Under the general supervision of a licensed provider, you will help maintain efficient patient flow and accurate documentation.

This full-time role requires strong communication, problem-solving, and a willingness to travel to region 5 clinics.

Qualifications

• Experience using EClinical Works or other EMR systems preferred.
• 1 year clinical experience preferred.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct morning huddles and coordinate daily workflow.
• Ensure prenoting and back-office tasks are completed.
• Train Medical Assistants and manage assignment of rooms.
• Enter injection orders and route to ECW, MRI, X-ray, and referrals.
• Discharge patients per provider's instructions and assist with concerns.
• Monitor office flow and escalate issues to management.
