Job summary

Morris Heights Health Center seeks an experienced Director of Operations to provide day-to-day operational leadership for its ambulatory practices. This role oversees Practice Managers, Site Managers, Site Administrators, and other leaders, ensuring efficient operations aligned with patient-care, access, financial, quality, workforce, and regulatory goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration or related field required.
• Minimum of seven years of progressively responsible healthcare operations experience.
• Experience leading ambulatory or outpatient practice operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct leadership to Practice Managers, Site Managers, and other leaders.
• Establish staffing, scheduling, patient flow, and regulatory readiness expectations.
• Maintain field presence with regular operational rounds at practices.
• Standardize workflows, communications, and escalation protocols across locations.
• Develop leadership capacity and succession readiness within Practice Management.
