Job summary

Evergreen Real Estate Group is seeking a Regional Supervisor to lead a portfolio of 8–10 affordable housing properties in the Chicago area. You will coach site teams, drive financial performance, ensure regulatory compliance, and foster resident satisfaction.

The role requires hands-on leadership, cross-department collaboration, and regular site visits to maintain Evergreen’s standards and mission. Frequent travel is expected within the portfolio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in real estate or related field.
• Minimum 5 years affordable property management experience.
• At least 3 years multi-site supervision or 5+ years managing high-volume sites.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop Property Managers and site teams to foster a collaborative culture.
• Oversee and coach financial operations including rent collection, budgeting, and expense control.
• Ensure compliance with LIHTC, Section 8, CHA, ADA and Fair Housing; prepare for inspections and audits.
• Manage capital projects, preventive maintenance, and unit turnovers.
• Drive resident satisfaction, lease-up, and vacancy reduction through programs and reporting.
