You will lead on-site teams, manage budgets, minimize vacancy loss, and promote compliance excellence across properties, including mentoring staff and coordinating with social services where available.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in on-site property management with at least 1 year as Property Manager in affordable housing.
• Prior supervisory experience required.
• Illinois Leasing Agent License within 120 days of employment if not already licensed.

Responsibilities

• Hire, train, and evaluate all site staff, including Assistant Managers and Leasing Professionals.
• Maximize occupancy through turnover, outreach marketing, and proactive leasing strategies.
• Ensure HUD/LIHTC compliance and maintain resident files and certifications on schedule.
• Review monthly financial reports and manage the operating budget with variance explanations.
• Schedule and supervise maintenance and coordinate vendor services.
