CareerNerds, LLC is seeking a strategic Vice President of Operations to lead a growing multi-state 3PL network. The role oversees warehousing, distribution, fulfillment, and value-added services with a focus on profitability and growth.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on leadership, extensive multi-site experience, and a proven track record in improving safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction while driving strategic direction and budgeting.

Qualifications

• Proven strategic leader with multi-site operations experience.
• Experience managing full P&L across multiple facilities.
• Strong change management and continuous improvement mindset.

Responsibilities

• Oversee multi-site warehousing, distribution, fulfillment, and logistics operations across six states.
• Manage and develop Directors of Operations, Operations Excellence, and Safety.
• Maintain full P&L responsibility, focusing on profitability and cost control.
• Establish SOPs, metrics, and continuous improvement across locations.
• Drive safety, inventory accuracy, and customer satisfaction improvements.
• Lead new facility startups and customer implementations.
• Collaborate with Sales and executive leadership on growth strategies.
• Utilize WMS and EDI to improve visibility and forecasting.
• Implement labor management strategies and cost-saving initiatives.
• Mentor leadership and ensure regulatory compliance.
