Job summary

Accounting Search is seeking a Vice President of Operations to lead a multi-site 3PL network, overseeing warehousing, distribution, and fulfillment across six states. You will drive profitability, standardize processes, and develop senior leaders, reporting directly to the CEO in a role with regional travel.

The ideal candidate has extensive multi-site operations experience, strong P&L management, and a proven record in operational excellence within logistics.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in progressive operations leadership in 3PL/warehousing/fulfillment.
• 5+ years overseeing multi-site operations via directors/regional managers or senior leadership.
• Proven experience with full P&L across multiple facilities.
• Demonstrated success improving efficiency, profitability, safety, labor productivity, and customer satisfaction.
• Experience launching new facilities or managing growth with major accounts.
• Strong understanding of WMS, labor management, KPIs and CI methodologies.
• Excellent leadership, communication, problem-solving and strategic planning skills.
• Ability to lead geographically dispersed teams while maintaining consistency.

Responsibilities

• Oversee multi-site warehousing, distribution, fulfillment, and logistics operations across six states.
• Develop and mentor Directors of Operations, Operations Excellence, and Safety teams.
• Maintain full P&L responsibility with focus on profitability and cost control.
• Establish SOPs, metrics, and continuous improvement across all locations.
• Drive safety, inventory accuracy, customer service, and staff retention improvements.
• Lead new facility startups, customer implementations, and expansions.
• Collaborate with Sales and executives on growth, pricing, and planning.
• Utilize WMS/EDI and reporting to improve visibility and decision-making.
• Implement labor management, productivity standards, and cost-saving initiatives.
• Build leadership pipelines through coaching and development.
• Ensure safety, standards, and customer requirements compliance.
• Participate in executive budgeting and strategic planning.
