Meritas Advisory Group, LLC is seeking a hands-on Vice President of Operations to oversee a growing multi-state 3PL network. The role emphasizes profitability, leadership development, and continuous improvement across warehousing, distribution, and value-added services.

You will manage Directors of Operations and drive end-to-end operational excellence. The ideal candidate brings extensive multi-site experience, strong P&L ownership, and a track record of scaling operations while building

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive operations leadership in 3PL/warehousing or related industry.
• 5+ years overseeing multi-site operations through directors or regional managers.
• Proven full P&L responsibilities across multiple facilities.
• Track record of improving profitability, safety, and customer satisfaction.
• Experience launching new facilities or expanding operations.
• Knowledge of WMS, labor management, KPIs, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Oversee multi-site warehousing, distribution, fulfillment, and logistics across six states.
• Develop Directors of Operations, Operations Excellence, and Safety with accountability.
• Maintain full P&L responsibility focusing on profitability and cost control.
• Establish SOPs, metrics, and continuous improvement across locations.
• Drive safety, inventory accuracy, customer service, and productivity.
• Lead new facility startups and customer implementations.
• Partner with Sales and leadership on growth, pricing, and planning.
• Utilize WMS/EDI and reporting to improve visibility and decision-making.
• Implement labor management strategies and cost-saving initiatives.
• Build leadership through coaching and development.
• Ensure compliance with safety and customer requirements.
• Participate in executive budgeting and strategic planning.
