Job summary

UniFirst seeks a Route Coverage Specialist to step in on delivery routes when Route Service Representatives are unavailable. You will be trained on multiple routes, loading and delivering clean garments and products to customers, while ensuring timely, accurate service and strong customer relationships.

You will also handle invoices, inventory checks, safety of the vehicle, and adherence to DOT and safety standards.

Qualifications

Must possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and reliable transportation.
Meet DOT requirements, including a physical exam.
High school diploma, GED, or military service.
Strong customer service skills and ability to work independently.
Prior route sales or delivery experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Develop proficiency across multiple routes to provide top-tier service.
Deliver garments and products to customers along established routes.
Provide excellent customer service and maintain customer relationships.
Resolve customer requests using problem-solving skills.
Manage invoices, conduct inventory audits, and maintain vehicle safety.
Follow traffic laws, safety standards, and company policies.
Support new account installations and assist RSRs on routes; opportunities to upsell.
Communicate customer feedback and market observations to leadership.
