Job summary

UniFirst is seeking a Route Coverage Specialist to step in on routes when Route Service Representatives are unavailable. You will load, transport, and unload clean garments and products to customers along established routes, ensuring timely and accurate service.

You will also collect used garments, maintain vehicle safety, and contribute to rerouting and new account support while upholding safety standards and delivering exceptional customer service.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and reliable transportation.
• DOT compliance requirements, including a physical exam.
• High school diploma, GED, or military service.
• Strong customer service skills; able to work independently with a team mindset.
• Prior experience in customer service, route sales, or delivery is a plus.
• Tech-savvy; comfortable using new technologies to enhance efficiency.
• Physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Develop proficiency across multiple routes to provide top-tier service.
• Deliver garments and products to customers along established routes; collect and return used items.
• Provide excellent customer service with clear communication and positive interactions.
• Resolve customer requests independently to maintain satisfaction and loyalty.
• Accurately manage invoices, conduct inventory audits, and maintain vehicle safety and cleanliness.
• Collaborate with Service and Management Teams to support installations, routes, rerouting, and collections.
