Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• For ESSA Title I schools, six semester hours in childhood education or two years of childhood work experience are required.
• Ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint and Google Apps in daily tasks.
• Familiarity with FERPA and confidential handling of student information.

Responsibilities

• Assist teachers with instructional activities and classroom management.
• Plan and adapt activities to support diverse learners and learning styles.
• Maintain materials and prepare resources as needed for lessons.
• Collaborate with staff to support school programs and student safety.
• Assist in administering screenings and data collection as required.
