Job summary

Lockheed Martin in Chelmsford, MA seeks a Production Manager to oversee multiple manufacturing functions including machining, assembly, tool and die, and packaging. You will coordinate recruitment, training, performance, and rewards while guiding teams in a high-demand aerospace environment.

Ideal candidates bring a degree, supervisory background, strong communication with customers, and proven lean, Six Sigma, and MRP experience. U.S. citizenship and security clearance are required.

You will be a Production Manager at Lockheed Martin's Chelmsford Operations facility, which is a leading hub for innovation in microelectronics, supporting critical aerospace and defense programs. Our team is dedicated to producing advanced technology solutions that safeguard national security and advance the industry. Manages more than one functional area of manufacturing, such as machining, assembly, tool and die, packaging. Responsible for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions.

Basic Qualifications

• Appropriate degree from an accredited college, or equivalent experience/combined education
• Prior experience as a supervisor
• Experience effectively communicating with internal and external customers
• Demonstrated knowledge of Lean / Six Sigma / Flow
• Demonstrated experience working with MRP systems
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to resolve conflicting priorities with complex resource constraints
• Proven ability to receive guidance from senior leadership, interpret it, and flow down to the team in a digestible manner
• Requires ability to obtain and maintain a Secret level clearance, which requires U.S. citizen

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $100200.00 - $186200.00

PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
