Job summary

Lockheed Martin is seeking a Manufacturing Associate Manager for the Production Operations Team in Grand Prairie, TX. The role leads supervisors and technicians to deliver high-quality products while driving continuous improvement in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

You will collaborate with cross-functional partners to meet safety, quality, cost, and schedule targets, recruiting and developing staff, and managing performance. A Secret clearance may be required for the position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college, or equivalent experience/combined education.
• Experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Previous leadership experience.
• Ability to obtain US Government-issued Secret Security Clearance.

What You Will Be Doing

• As the Manufacturing Associate Manager you will be responsible for leading supervisors, support staff, and manufacturing technicians to meet safety, quality, cost, and schedule goals.
• Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
• Recruiting, selecting, training, and developing team members.
• Managing performance assessments, work assignments, cross‑training, and recognition/disciplinary actions.
• Collaborating with cross‑functional partners (engineering, quality, planning, maintenance, ESH) to execute core metrics. Driving a continuous‑improvement mindset and cultivating a high‑performing work environment. Ensuring customer requirements and business objectives are consistently met.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college, or equivalent experience/combined education
• Experience in a manufacturing or production environment
• Previous leadership experience
• Appropriate acumen to successfully interact with Program Senior Management, Sr. Management, HR, and Union Leadership.
• Demonstrated skills in team building and leading.
• Ability to obtain US Government‑issued Secret Security Clearance. Desired skills are additional skills that are nice to have and help narrow down a qualified candidate pool

Desired Skills

• Material Requirements Planning (MRP) experience Proficient in SAP
• Greenbelt Certification
• Knowledge of CBA and interaction with Union Leadership
• Experience in: First line supervision Collective Bargaining Agreement Programmatic/Operations cost and estimating Driving continuous improvement/cost reduction activities

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $89100.00 - $165500.00

PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
