Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Property Maintenance Technician to ensure the physical aspects of the buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas meet company standards for cleanliness, safety, and overall functionality.

Responsibilities include completing work orders, making-ready vacant units, inventory management, documentation, and grounds maintenance, with EPA refrigerant certifications and a valid driver’s license required.

Qualifications

• EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling.
• All certifications as required by State and Local jurisdictions.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and preventative maintenance by diagnosing and repairing defects per policy and code requirements.
• Completes the make-ready process to prepare vacant apartments for leasing, including pre-move-out inspections, punch lists, scheduling vendors, and inspecting work.
• Follows procedures to access materials and track inventory, returns unused items, and notifies supervision about re-ordering needs.
• Completes documentation and paperwork to document and track service requests.
• Assists in maintaining grounds, common areas, and amenities by cleaning, pressure-washing, and painting as needed.
• Supports cost-control by fixing rather than replacing parts and using tools efficiently.
