Job summary

Mill Creek Residential in Austin, TX is seeking a Service Manager to oversee maintenance of one or more communities. You will lead routine and preventive maintenance of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and appliances, ensuring safety and high-quality presentation.

Responsibilities include supervising staff, coordinating with vendors, and managing budgets while maintaining excellent resident service and adherence to company standards.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• 5+ years maintenance technician experience.
• HVAC Certification required.
• CAMT preferred.
• CPO preferred.
• Multi-family housing experience helpful.

Responsibilities

• Routinely inspect grounds and buildings to ensure safety standards and identify maintenance projects.
• Monitor inventory of tools, supplies, spare parts for common issues and emergencies.
• Schedule and perform routine preventive maintenance on equipment and tools.
• Inspect vacated apartments, document renovations, and re-inspect units for quality and timeliness.
• Respond to resident requests with timely, high-quality service.
• Maintain records of preventive maintenance, service requests, expenditures and status.
• Identify utility cut-offs and map locations for maintenance planning.
• Oversee work of vendors and maintenance service suppliers.
• Collaborate with GM/CM in hiring, training and supervising service staff.
