Job summary

Mill Creek Residential is seeking a Service Manager to maintain physical conditions of one or more communities, lead routine maintenance, and proactively develop plans to counter challenges. You will ensure top operational needs are met and safety standards are followed across HVAC, electrical, plumbing and more.

In this role, you will supervise associates, assist in hiring and training, and collaborate with the Community Manager to manage budgets and schedules.

Qualifications

• Clear and concise written and verbal communication in English.
• Basic arithmetic and measurement skills.
• General computer skills with MS Office and property management software.

Responsibilities

• Routinely inspect grounds and buildings for safety and maintenance needs.
• Monitor inventory of tools, supplies and parts for emergencies.
• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment and tools.
• Inspect vacated apartments, document renovations and re-inspect for quality.
• Respond to resident requests with strong customer service.
• Maintain records of maintenance, requests, expenditures and status.
• Oversee vendors and maintenance service providers.
• Assist in hiring, training and supervising the service team.
• Assist in scheduling technicians, housekeepers, porters, and groundskeepers.
• Develop programs to control maintenance expenses.
