Job summary

Jobot is seeking a dynamic Construction Project Manager in Santa Cruz, CA to oversee ground-up projects from concept to completion. You will coordinate with vendors and subcontractors, manage budgets, and ensure on-time delivery with top quality.

This permanent role offers growth within a fast-growing company. The ideal candidate has at least 3 years in construction PM, strong scheduling, contracting, and procurement experience, and proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, and MS Project.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction project management, specifically in ground-up construction.
  • Proven experience in construction scheduling, contract management, cost control, and procurement.
  • Strong leadership skills, with a demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team.
  • Excellent strategic planning and budgeting skills.
  • Experience in site management, including adherence to OSHA regulations.
  • Proficiency in project management software, including Procore, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Project.
  • Excellent communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with owners and other stakeholders.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills, with a demonstrated ability to identify and manage project risks.
  • Experience in vendor management and subcontractor coordination.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all aspects of construction projects from initial planning to completion.
  • Develop and manage project schedules, ensuring work is completed on time and within budget.
  • Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors to ensure all work is completed to the highest quality standards.
  • Manage project budget, including cost control and procurement.
  • Lead and manage a team of construction professionals, promoting a culture of teamwork and collaboration.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve project goals.
  • Manage site operations, ensuring all work is completed safely and in compliance with OSHA regulations.
  • Communicate effectively with owners, providing regular updates on project progress.
  • Utilize project management software, including Procore, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Project, to track project progress and manage resources.
  • Identify and manage project risks, implementing risk management strategies as necessary.
  • Solve problems as they arise, using your strong problem‑solving skills to ensure project success.

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Construction Project Manager to join our team. This is a permanent position where you will be responsible for managing all aspects of construction projects, from initial conception to completion.
