Jobot is seeking a Project Manager in Minneapolis to lead multifamily construction efforts on major developments from preconstruction through closeout. You will manage budgets, schedules, and vendor relations while coordinating with owners, architects, and subcontractors to deliver high-quality results.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years in multifamily or large residential work, strong leadership and communication skills, and proficiency with Procore or Bluebeam.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred.
  • 4+ years managing multifamily or large residential construction projects.
  • Experience with ground-up multifamily developments preferred.
  • Strong scheduling, budgeting, and project controls knowledge.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage multifamily construction projects from preconstruction through project completion.
  • Develop and maintain project budgets, schedules, and forecasts to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Coordinate with owners, architects, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure alignment and execution.
  • Oversee subcontractor procurement, contract negotiations, and performance management.
  • Monitor project financial performance, including cost control, change management, and forecasting.
  • Ensure projects meet quality, safety, and regulatory compliance standards.
  • Lead project meetings, maintain clear communication with stakeholders, and provide regular project updates.
  • Collaborate closely with field leadership, including Superintendents, to ensure efficient project execution.
  • Identify risks and proactively implement solutions to maintain project timelines and budgets.
  • Support successful project closeout, including punch list completion, turnover, and documentation.

Preferred Experience
  • Experience with podium, mid‑rise, or high‑rise multifamily construction
  • Experience managing projects from preconstruction through completion
  • Experience with mixed‑use or urban multifamily developments
