Job summary

Birge & Held is seeking an Operations Manager to lead day-to-day operations across multiple apartment communities in Evansville, IN. You will manage the on-site Customer Experience Team, drive resident satisfaction, and ensure financial goals and curb appeal are met through strong cross-functional collaboration.

The role reports to the Regional Property Manager and requires a minimum 3 years of management experience plus solid customer service in multifamily or hospitality settings.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of management experience leading a team.
• 2+ years of customer service experience in multifamily or hospitality preferred.
• Proficiency with property management software (Onesite, Yardi) and CRM tools.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of multiple apartment communities to meet financial goals and standards.
• Lead on-site Customer Experience Team to deliver high-quality resident interactions.
• Collaborate with Marketing to support occupancy and revenue goals.
• Coordinate resident screening, renewals, and billbacks with central operations teams.
• Prepare reports on property performance and resident satisfaction for senior management.
