Job summary

Birge & Held is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee daily operations across multiple multifamily communities in Carmel, IN. You will manage the on-site Customer Experience Team, optimize resident satisfaction, and coordinate with central teams to maximize property value through operational excellence.

The role requires at least three years of management experience and strong skills in leadership, budgeting, and property management software.

Qualifications

• Three years of management experience leading a team.
• Two years of customer service experience in multifamily or hospitality.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Proficiency with property management software (Onesite/Yardi) and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of multiple apartment communities.
• Lead the on-site Customer Experience Team and ensure resident satisfaction.
• Collaborate with central operations and departments to optimize processes and finances.
• Ensure compliance with Fair Housing, ADA and related regulations.
