Job summary

GoldOller Real Estate Investments is seeking a Maintenance Technician at our Petersburg, VA properties. You will perform interior and exterior repairs, manage routine maintenance tasks, and ensure units are safe and welcoming for residents.

The role requires at least 1 year of multifamily maintenance or a technical trade background, EPA certification, and a valid driver’s license. You will work on-site with a team that prioritizes safety and resident satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• At least 1 year of multifamily maintenance experience or completed technical trade school.
• EPA Certification required.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle.
• Must own basic maintenance tools.
• Willing to work weekends and travel/overnight.
• Experience in carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, and refurbishing.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs to keep units safe, clean, and habitable.
• Inspect units at move-in/move-out and document condition.
• Respond to resident maintenance requests promptly and professionally.
• Complete reports and software entries (work orders) accurately and on time.
• Follow safety practices and attend required trainings.
• Maintain grounds and common areas and assist with renovations as needed.
