Job summary

Grande Oak Apartments in Williamsburg, VA is seeking a Full-Time Maintenance Technician to perform repairs and preventative maintenance on all building systems. You must have your own tools and a valid driver’s license; HVAC and EPA certification are preferred.

Two years of maintenance experience is required, with multifamily and CPO experience a plus. The role covers HVAC, appliances, water heaters, electrical and plumbing work, plus on-call emergency maintenance.

Qualifications

• Two years maintenance experience required or equivalent
• HVAC and/or EPA certification preferred
• Previous multifamily experience preferred
• Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Performs repairs, troubleshoots systems, and completes preventative maintenance.
• Must possess the knowledge and tools to perform on-site basic repairs including HVAC, appliances, water heaters, electrical and plumbing systems.
• Available for emergency maintenance calls 24 hours a day when scheduled.
• Assists in training Groundskeepers and entry level Maintenance Technicians
• Conducts maintenance-related inspections and prepares property for regulatory inspections
• Performs Preventive Maintenance including winterizing facilities and pool equipment, and ensures lights/HVAC are off in vacant units.
