Job summary

McKinney Properties, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support our multi-family housing properties in State College.

You will perform general apartment and common area maintenance, including appliance, HVAC, electrical, and plumbing work, while ensuring a quick response to service requests. The role requires reliable transportation, 1-2 years of hands-on maintenance experience, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of maintenance experience.
• Experience with electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
• Must provide your own basic tools and tool bag.
• Reliable transportation and ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• General apartment unit and common area maintenance, including appliance, HVAC, electrical, and plumbing installation and repairs.
• Respond to maintenance service requests within 24 hours.
• Keep an organized shop and inventory of replacement parts.
• Prepare vacant apartments for new residents as directed by supervision.
• Schedule and complete the Preventative Maintenance Program.
• Assist management with specific maintenance projects.
• Monitor work by outside contractors.
