Job summary

Positive Investments, Inc. is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician to manage the physical integrity and day-to-day maintenance of our properties, ensuring residents have a safe, functional, and attractive place to call home.

You will coordinate repairs, perform preventive tasks, and liaise with vendors to keep communities well maintained. You will bring 2+ years in property management or building maintenance, strong skills in carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and appliance repairs, and

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of property management or building maintenance experience.
• Proficiency in carpentry, electrical, appliance, and plumbing repairs.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and execute work orders, property turns, and ongoing maintenance projects.
• Diagnose and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, drywall, and appliance issues.
• Conduct move-in/move-out inspections and daily checks of common areas for safety and cleanliness.
• Manage apartment turns within 1–7 days and respond to resident maintenance concerns promptly.
• Follow preventative maintenance programs including moisture management and safety inspections.
• Use Yardi to enter and close work orders, manage documentation, and generate reports.
