Job summary

Responsibilities include completing service requests, performing repairs across plumbing/electrical/HVAC, assisting with unit turns, inspections, and on-call duties.

Qualifications

• Multifamily or apartment maintenance experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliance repair, carpentry, and general building maintenance.
• HVAC/EPA certification preferred.
• Ability to diagnose maintenance problems and complete repairs with limited supervision.
• Strong organizational, communication, and customer-service skills.
• Ability to prioritise multiple work orders and respond to emergency maintenance situations.
• Must be dependable and participate in an on-call rotation.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to perform physical requirements of apartment maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Complete resident service requests and work orders accurately and timely.
• Perform general repairs including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, carpentry, drywall, and painting.
• Assist with apartment make-readies and unit turns.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance.
• Troubleshoot and repair appliances, fixtures, equipment, and systems.
• Maintain grounds, common areas, maintenance shops, and equipment.
• Respond to emergency/after-hours maintenance calls.
• Assist with property inspections and address safety concerns.
• Maintain records of work orders, repairs, supplies, and PM.
• Follow OSHA and safety procedures; communicate with residents and vendors.
