Article Student Living is seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician to uphold safety, appearance, and maintenance standards across our properties in Columbus, OH. The role focuses on grounds, common areas, and curb appeal with professional service to residents.

Ideal candidates have hands-on maintenance experience, basic HVAC, plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, and appliance repair skills, and a customer-service mindset.

Qualifications

• Hands-on maintenance or construction experience in residential/commercial properties.
• Customer service oriented with professional appearance.
• Basic knowledge of residential HVAC systems and routine maintenance.
• Experience with appliance repair and installation (refrigerators, ranges, dishwashers, washers/dryers).
• Drywall repair including patching, sanding, finishing to move-in-ready condition.
• Interior and exterior painting preparation and finishing.
• Basic plumbing issues and fixture repairs.
• Basic electrical troubleshooting and repairs.

Responsibilities

• Support the Maintenance Supervisor to ensure a safe environment for staff and residents.
• Resolve issues arising in the community and property.
• Provide suggestions for improvements and efficiency.
• On-call during certain times of the month.
