Job summary

YMP REM is seeking a Maintenance Technician to manage day-to-day maintenance, repairs, and make-ready operations at a Class C multifamily community of 200+ units in Louisville. You will document move-outs/ins, track make-ready status in Yardi Voyager 8, and coordinate with ownership and management.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of maintenance experience in property management, strong trades skills (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry), and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School education or equivalent.
• 3+ years of maintenance technician experience in property management.
• Experience at a 200+ unit community including workforce housing and Section 8.
• Hands-on maintenance across trades with focus on trades listed above.
• EPA certification preferred; HVAC certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Move-Outs/Move-Ins documentation with real-time updates.
• Make-ready processes including punch-list repairs, painting, cleaning, final inspection.
• Create and close detailed work orders in Yardi Voyager 8.
• Perform skilled trades: painting, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry.
• Respond to service requests promptly and prioritize emergencies.
