Job summary

YMP REM Maintenance is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician for a Class C 200+ unit community in a fast-paced environment. You will perform plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliance and carpentry work, document in Yardi Voyager 8, and help manage move-outs/make-ready units.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in property management maintenance, EPA/HVAC certifications, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to safety and resident service.

Qualifications

• High School education or equivalent.
• 3+ years of maintenance technician experience in property management.
• Experience at 200+ unit communities with workforce housing and Section 8.
• EPA certification preferred; HVAC certification a plus.
• Hands-on knowledge of Yardi Voyager 8 for work orders and documentation.
• Strong organization and multitasking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform skilled trade repairs including painting, plumbing, HVAC servicing and carpentry.
• Manage make-ready process for vacant units and coordinate inspections.
• Create and close detailed work orders in Yardi Voyager 8 with documentation.
• Maintain grounds, common areas, and building exteriors; ensure curb appeal.
• Collaborate with Property Manager and Regional Facilities Manager.
• Schedule flexibility for emergency, after-hours, or on-call coverage.
