Job summary

Greystar Worldwide, LLC is seeking a Service Technician in Austin, TX to perform technical and mechanical work ensuring building systems meet company standards for safety, cleanliness, and functionality. The role includes completing work orders, making-ready tasks for new leases, and assisting in general property upkeep.

Essential duties involve documenting work, handling inventory, and coordinating with vendors.

Qualifications

• EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling.
• All required state and local certifications must be held.
• Valid driver's license to operate a golf cart on property.

Responsibilities

• Completes work orders from residents and preventative maintenance per safety standards.
• Completes the make-ready process for vacant apartments and coordinates vendors as needed.
• Follows procedures to access materials, tracks inventory, and notifies supervisor for reorders.
• Documents service requests clearly for tracking and reporting.
• Maintains grounds and common areas, including cleaning and painting as required.
• Supports cost-control by fixing rather than replacing parts when feasible.
