Job summary

YMP REM is seeking a Maintenance Technician to manage day-to-day upkeep, repairs, and make-ready operations at a 200+ unit Class C multifamily community in Fayetteville. You will handle plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliance repair, and carpentry, while maintaining real-time records in Yardi Voyager 8 for move-outs, move-ins, and inventory.

You will work closely with management and an ownership group that visits weekly, multitasking in a fast-paced environment and ensuring high standards of curb

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years of maintenance technician experience in property management.
• Experience at a Class C property with workforce housing and Section 8.
• Hands-on trades: painting, plumbing, appliance repair, HVAC servicing.
• EPA certification (Type I/II/Universal) preferred; HVAC certification a plus.
• Yardi Voyager 8 experience for work orders and documentation.
• Strong organization and multitasking abilities.
• Good communication with residents and staff.

Responsibilities

• Inspect units prior to move-out and document condition.
• Take before/after photos of move-outs and move-ins.
• Upload photos and document appliance inventory in Yardi Voyager 8.
• Maintain make-ready status and document work orders in Yardi Voyager 8.
• Perform trades: painting, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry repairs.
• Complete resident service requests in a timely manner.
• Coordinate with Property Manager and Regional Facilities Manager.
• Maintain safety, cleanliness, and inventory of tools and parts.
