Greystar Worldwide, LLC is seeking a Maintenance Technician in San Jose to perform a range of technical and mechanical tasks ensuring building components meet safety and quality standards. The role covers preventive and corrective maintenance, and hands-on repairs across property systems.

The ideal candidate has 3-5 years of maintenance experience with strong HVAC skills and basic plumbing knowledge, plus prior multifamily maintenance exposure preferred.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of maintenance technician experience.
• Strong HVAC skills and basic plumbing knowledge.
• Experience in a maintenance or multifamily environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders and preventive maintenance, diagnose defects, and repair per safety standards.
• Execute the make-ready process for vacant apartments and inspect completed work.
• Track inventory, manage materials and equipment, and reorder as needed.
• Document service requests accurately for tracking.
• Assist in grounds and amenities upkeep, cleaning, and painting as needed.
• Support cost-control by fixing rather than replacing parts when possible.
