Job summary

Elmington Living is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the Southside Flats property in Knoxville, TN. You will respond to service requests, perform repairs in plumbing, carpentry, and appliance areas, and help maintain the community.

The role requires at least 2 years of maintenance experience and HVAC-related certifications. On-site work with potential travel up to 10% and emphasis on resident communication and safety.

Qualifications

• Candidates must hold at least one required HVAC-related certification or obtain within 60 days of employment.
• HVAC-specific certifications such as EPA Section 608 or HVAC Certification are required/preferred.
• OSHA 10/30, CPO, or plumbing/electrical licenses are beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Respond to service requests and complete repairs in a timely manner.
• Maintain property condition and perform building repairs.
• Operate hand tools and power tools for maintenance work.
• Communicate effectively with residents and coworkers.
• Log time and tasks accurately in company systems.
