Job summary

Elmington Living is seeking a Maintenance Technician to uphold the property's physical condition by promptly handling service requests and performing repairs. The role emphasizes plumbing, HVAC, appliances, carpentry, and general maintenance to ensure resident satisfaction and reliable operations.

Qualified candidates will have at least 2 years in property maintenance and hold HVAC-related certifications such as EPA Section 608 or HVAC certification, with OSHA 10/30 preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of property maintenance and/or maintenance experience.
• HVAC or EPA Universal certification required.
• Effective communication across residents and coworkers.
• Maintain the physical condition of the property.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools.
• Respond to issues outside normal schedule when required.
• Accurate time reporting (clock in/out) and adherence to policies.

Responsibilities

• Respond to service requests and complete repairs promptly.
• Diagnose problems and repair major appliances, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, pool, roof, and gutter systems.
• Address landscaping and snow/ice removal when needed.
• Provide exceptional customer service and clear resident communication.
• Operate computers and company software to access email and platforms.
