Job summary

Elmington Living is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our property management team. You will respond to service requests, perform repairs, and maintain the physical condition of our communities with a strong focus on plumbing, HVAC, electrical work when permitted, and carpentry.

You will operate tools and company software, coordinate with residents and coworkers, and participate in vacant unit turns.

Qualifications

• Required: EPA Section 608 Certification for handling refrigerants in HVAC systems.
• HVAC certification or equivalent validating HVAC skills.
• OSHA 10/ OSHA 30 certifications are preferred safety credentials.
• CPO certification is beneficial for pool/spa maintenance.
• Plumbing or electrical licenses are advantageous for a broader maintenance scope.

Responsibilities

• Minimum 2 years of property maintenance experience.
• HVAC or EPA Universal certification required.
• Maintain the physical condition of the property.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools.
• Respond to issues outside of normal hours when required.
• Accurately report all time worked by clocking in and out.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.
• Perform building maintenance and repairs.
