Job summary

LINK is seeking a Service Technician to maintain and repair apartment communities in Columbus. You will handle tenant requests, assist with make-ready turns, and uphold exterior and interior upkeep to high standards.

Ideal candidates have HVAC, carpentry, painting, or electrical repair experience, plus a valid driver's license and on-call availability. This full-time role supports a dynamic, promote-from-within culture at LINK.

Qualifications

• Technical skills or experience in light carpentry, painting, plastering, HVAC, or minor electrical repairs.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Maintenance/repair experience in residential or commercial property management is a plus.
• On-call availability for emergency maintenance.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and frequent sitting/standing.

Responsibilities

• Complete tenant service requests.
• Participate in the make-ready/turn completion process.
• Ensure the community meets the highest exterior aesthetics standards.
• Work closely with a team of supervisors and technicians.
• Coordinate and manage vendor and subcontractor projects within the community.
• Ensure property maintenance meets company quality standards at all times.
• Oversees general maintenance and upkeep to units, offices, common areas, and community amenity buildings, grounds, and landscaping.
• Ensure all work complies with required standards and regulations.
• Manages other projects as needed.
• Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
