Job summary

5812 Investment Group is seeking Experienced Maintenance Technicians to join the 5812 Maintenance Team in the Columbus area. The role covers preventative maintenance, repairs, and moving-in readiness of apartments across our communities.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, maintenance experience or trade school education, and be able to obtain HVAC certification. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Maintenance experience or trade school education preferred.
• Ability to obtain HVAC certification or already certified.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs.
• Provide excellent customer service through ticket resolution.
• Handle HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and appliance repairs.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs.
• Create excellence in customer service through ticket resolution.
• Execute duties in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and appliance repair.
• Produce move-in ready apartments through renovations and repairs.
• General upkeep and cleanliness of the grounds.
• Assist in snow removal as necessary.
• Work on a rotating on call schedule.
• Perform other duties as required.

REQUIREMENTS:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Maintenance Experience or trade school education
• HVAC certification or the willingness to obtain one
• Driver’s License and valid car insurance
• Personal, reliable transportation
• Excellent communication skills; written and verbal
• Ability to speak, read, and write English
• Basic computer skills; comfortable with apps and software
• Possess basic hand tools or can acquire them
• Service mentality and a thirst for learning
