Job summary

ConcordRENTS is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician to upkeep apartment homes and common areas across Florida communities. You will perform painting, plumbing, electrical, appliance repairs, and carpentry, ensuring curb appeal and safety.

This role requires CPO certification may be required and EPA certification; ability to work independently, respond to service requests, and use inspection software. On-call duties evenings/weekends may apply.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent required.
• Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification may be required to service pools.
• EPA certification (Universal or Type I and II) required within 6 months or via training.
• Ability to speak, read and write English for safety and productivity.
• Prefer over one year of experience in maintenance or similar role.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to residents, ensuring high satisfaction and retention.
• Respond to service requests and perform routine maintenance and repairs including basic plumbing, electrical, appliances, carpentry, and general building maintenance.
• Complete apartment unit turns (make-readies) with pre-move out inspections and punch list completion.
• Perform preventive maintenance and scheduled inspections (HVAC, detectors, appliances, etc.).
• Maintain grounds, buildings, and common areas; address trash, debris, and cleanliness.
• Assist with irrigation checks, painting, signage upkeep, and recreation area maintenance.
• Move appliances, provide keys, and respond to issues in a timely manner.
• Adhere to maintenance processes, close service requests, and use inspection software.
• Participate in on-call duty for evenings and weekends.
