Job summary

University Partners is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support daily maintenance operations across our communities. You will handle service requests, unit turns, inspections, and grounds upkeep, working with the Maintenance Supervisor or Assistant as assigned.

Ideal candidates have hands-on knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and basic construction, plus a strong service mindset and ability to work weekends or on-call as required. Training provided and safety is emphasized.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 1–3 months of related maintenance experience or training preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must have own basic maintenance tools.

Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent service to residents, guests, employees, and contractors; complete routine service requests within 24 hours, as directed.
  • Maintain the overall cleanliness and condition of the community.
  • Support unit turns, make-ready preparation, and move-in readiness; maintain the maintenance shop per policy.
  • Communicate maintenance issues and concerns to the Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager.
  • Assist with additional tasks as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor.
  • Participate in on-call rotation during non-business hours, as required.
