Job summary

Kairoi is seeking a Service Technician to maintain our multifamily community in Houston. You will respond to resident requests, prepare vacant units, and perform a range of repairs across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry, while providing excellent resident service.

You will inspect for safety, coordinate with residents, and help keep common areas, pools, and amenities in top condition. A proactive, customer-focused approach is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years in apartment home repairs including carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and related mechanical tasks.
• Bilingual Spanish/English preferred to serve a diverse resident base.
• EPA and HVAC certs, or willingness to obtain them, are required.
• Must follow OSHA safety rules and maintain a safe work environment.
• Valid driver's license required with clean record.

Responsibilities

• Respond to resident service requests promptly and professionally.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot maintenance issues (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances).
• Perform repairs and replacements to resolve issues efficiently.
• Communicate progress and estimated completion times to residents.
• Assist in make-ready for vacant apartments to attract new residents.
• Maintain grounds, common areas, and amenities to high standards.
• Conduct routine property inspections for safety and maintenance.
• Report issues to Service Manager for prompt resolution.
• Help organize and stock maintenance equipment, materials, and supplies.
• participate in on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies.
