Job summary

ConcordRENTS is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Oviedo, FL to maintain apartment homes and common areas, address service requests, and perform preventative maintenance. The role requires basic mechanical knowledge and strong customer service, with on‑site responsibilities and potential on‑call duties.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Requires basic mechanical knowledge.
• Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification may be required to service pools and EPA Universal or Type I/II certs may be required within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to residents; aim for high satisfaction and retention.
• Respond to service requests and perform routine maintenance and repairs in apartments and facilities.
• Diagnose issues; determine materials; complete repairs including plumbing, electrical, appliances, carpentry, and general upkeep.
• Complete apartment turnovers with pre-move-out inspections, punch lists, repairs, painting, and cleaning.
• Perform preventive maintenance and inspections (HVAC, detectors, appliances).
• Maintain grounds, buildings, and common areas; address issues; keep areas clean and presentable.
• Assist with amenities upkeep including irrigation checks, signage, recreation areas; report damages.
• Move appliances, issue keys, and respond to resident issues promptly.
• Track and close service requests in the property management system; adhere to inspection schedules.
