Job summary

MMS Group is seeking a Building Maintenance Technician in Atlanta, GA. This full-time role focuses on maintaining residential apartment homes, performing repairs, and managing unit turnovers.

You will handle electrical, plumbing, and HVAC tasks, with on-call responsibilities as needed. Qualified candidates have 3+ years of maintenance experience, a HS diploma, a valid driver’s license, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Experience with residential multifamily property maintenance is required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience with electrical, plumbing and HVAC systems is required.
• Valid driver’s license is required.

Responsibilities

• Regular Maintenance: Maintain residential apartment homes and other areas on the property, including building exteriors, interiors, and public areas, regularly.
• Repairs: Perform small appliance, plumbing, electrical, and other repairs in residential apartments and other areas of the property.
• Installation: Install tile and laminate flooring
• Emergency Response: Take part in the on-call rotation schedule, responding to emergency calls according to the company's policy on after-hour emergency calls
• Unit Turnover: Manage the turnover of empty apartment units, including repairs (e.g., sheetrock, taping, sanding, painting, and fixing doors, windows, light fixtures, etc.).
• Additional Duties: Perform other duties as outlined in the job description.
