Job summary

Braden Fellman Group in Atlanta, GA is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician to join the on-site team at a multifamily community. You will handle resident service requests, unit turns, and preventive maintenance to keep homes safe and appealing.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of maintenance experience, basic knowledge of plumbing/electrical, and the ability to use mobile devices for work orders. This role offers growth within a company that promotes from within.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of maintenance experience in multifamily/apartment communities.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, appliances, and carpentry repairs.
• HVAC troubleshooting skills.
• Comfort using mobile devices for work orders and communication.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• EPA 608 Type II or Universal certification (nice to have).
• CPO certification or willingness to become certified.
• Experience with property management software (AppFolio, Yardi or similar).
• Bilingual English/Spanish (nice to have).

Responsibilities

• Respond to resident service requests promptly and professionally.
• Perform unit turns: punch-out repairs, painting touch-ups, and fixture replacement.
• Conduct preventive maintenance on building systems.
• Maintain common areas and grounds, light cleaning, and seasonal tasks.
• Document work orders, parts used, and time on task.
• Assist with property inspections and report hazards.
• Participate in rotating on-call schedule for after-hours emergencies.
• Communicate courteously with residents.
