Job summary

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, with 1–3 years related experience, and a willingness to obtain CAMT and Fair Housing Certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Certified Apartment Maintenance Technician (CAMT) is recommended. Fair Housing Certification is required within 1 day of hire.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance such as plumbing, electrical, heating and air conditioning repairs, carpentry, appliance repairs, glass replacement, etc.
• Respond promptly to resident work order requests and notify management upon completion or delays.
• Daily repair and upkeep of the community and vacant units prior to new resident occupancy.
• Maintain inventory of tools, supplies, and equipment and ensure a professional appearance.
