Job summary

The Franklin Group in Miami, FL is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure efficient operation and upkeep of our community buildings and grounds. You will diagnose problems and perform repairs across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and related systems to keep the property in top condition.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED, 1–3 years of related experience, and the ability to work on an on-call basis.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED; 1–3 years related experience preferred.
HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry and appliance repair capabilities.
Must be able to read and interpret safety rules and instructions.

Responsibilities

Maintain efficient operation and upkeep of community buildings and grounds.
Diagnose problems and perform repairs across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry and appliances.
Respond quickly to resident work orders and communicate status.
Keep work areas, tools, and equipment clean and organized.
Perform routine maintenance and prep vacant units for occupancy.
Manage inventory of supplies and report needs.
Follow OSHA standards and company safety policies at all times.
Be available to work on an on-call basis.
