Job summary

The Franklin Group in Charlottesville, VA is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep the community facilities in top condition. You will diagnose and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and related systems, respond to resident work orders, and help maintain pools and amenity areas.

This role is non-exempt, hourly, with a salary range of $20.15–$28.00 per hour; candidates should have a HS diploma or GED and 1–3 years experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 1–3 years related experience and/or training.
• HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, appliance repairs, and related maintenance skills.
• Must have valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance such as plumbing, electrical, heating and air conditioning repairs, carpentry, appliance repairs, etc.
• Respond promptly to resident work orders and notify management upon completion.
• Responsible for daily repair and upkeep of the community.
• Maintain supply inventory and keep tools and area clean.
