Job summary

Roundhouse is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician to keep our properties well-maintained and safe. You will handle repairs across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and pool systems, respond quickly to work orders, and walk properties to preempt issues.

The role includes after-hours on-call rotation and a focus on high-quality finishes. We offer a competitive hourly wage with commissions, a strong benefits package, and a mission to put humanity into housing.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year in general maintenance/repair.
• Working understanding of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, CPO, and carpentry systems.
• Strong communication and customer-service mindset.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work outdoors in all weather.
• Basic computer skills including MS Office and property management software.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on maintenance repairs across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and pool/spa systems.
• Respond promptly to work orders and complete them to a high-quality finish.
• Walk the property to identify maintenance issues and ensure safety/compliance.
• Maintain curb appeal by keeping grounds and common areas clean and functional.
• Coordinate with Maintenance Supervisor on tasks, purchases, and vendor interactions.
• Keep accurate records of work performed, materials used, and hours.
