Job summary

Roundhouse is hiring a Maintenance Technician to keep our properties in top condition. You will perform hands-on repairs across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and pool systems, respond to work orders, and help maintain safety and curb appeal.

With at least 2 years of specialized high-rise experience, you bring strong communication, a customer-service mindset, and the ability to work independently or with a team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years of specialized high-rise experience.
• Strong understanding of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, CPO, and carpentry systems.
• Strong communication and a genuine customer-service mindset.
• A valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physical capacity to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, stand and walk for long stretches, climb ladders, and work outdoors in all weather.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and property management software.

Responsibilities

• Maintain upkeep, repair, and overall health of the property.
• Handle hands-on repairs across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and pool and spa systems.
• Respond fast to work orders and see each one through to a high-quality finish.
• Walk the property to catch maintenance issues early and keep it compliant with safety and health codes.
• Protect curb appeal by keeping grounds, building exteriors, and common areas clean and functional.
• Partner with the Maintenance Supervisor to prioritize tasks, approve purchases, and coordinate vendors.
• Keep clear records of the work you do, including materials, hours, and completion status.
• Take your turn in the after-hours emergency on-call rotation and pitch in on snow and ice removal.
• Stay on top of your maintenance software so every work order is current, accurate, and on time.
• Follow all safety procedures in the Employee Handbook, SOPs, OSHA standards, and on-equipment labels.
