Job summary

Roundhouse is seeking a hands-on Maintenance role to keep our multifamily properties running smoothly. You will perform repairs across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and grounds maintenance while ensuring safety and quality in every task.

Location is Minnesota-based; the role requires a valid driver's license, basic computer skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Competitive pay starts at $28/hour with commissions, plus on-call rotation coverage and growth

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year in general maintenance and repair.
• Working understanding of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, CPO, and carpentry.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, stand/walk for long periods, climb ladders, and work outdoors in all weather.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and property management software.

Responsibilities

• Maintain upkeep, repair, and overall health of the property.
• Handle hands-on repairs across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and pool/spa systems.
• Respond to work orders promptly and ensure high-quality finishes.
• Walk the property to catch maintenance issues early and stay compliant with safety codes.
• Protect curb appeal by keeping grounds and common areas clean and functional.
• Coordinate with the Maintenance Supervisor on tasks, approvals, and vendor relations.
• Keep accurate records of work performed, materials, hours, and status.
• Take turns in after-hours on-call rotation and assist with snow/ice removal.
• Stay current with maintenance software and enter data consistently.
